Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs, Minnesota State Community and Technical College
Dr. John Maduko is Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs at Minnesota State Community and Technical College (M State). Maduko was previously Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs at North Central Texas College in North Texas, where he also served in the roles as Dean of Health Sciences and Dean of eLearning. Before his time in North Texas, he served as Academic Dean for Rasmussen College and while at the college served as Department Chair and Associate Professor of Health Sciences. Prior to joining the academic affairs division at Rasmussen College, he was an allied health department chair with EDMC and a visiting professor with Mountain State University and Hillsborough Community College. Dr. Maduko holds a BS in Biology from California State Polytechnic University Pomona and a MD from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine.
Maduko has presented nationally and regionally on innovation implementation in higher education, consults for HealthTech and EdTech organizations, and has past board of directors’ service for the United Way of Denton County, Greater Denton Arts Council, and Texas Community College Instructional Administrators (TCCIA). Prior to his career in higher education, Dr. Maduko was a physician by trade and continues to support efforts in the realms of healthcare innovation and access for underserved communities.
