The questions have been: “How do we get these students?” and “How do we make them feel comfortable and fit?” It would be better if we asked: “What is it that diverse students bring that can benefit us all, and in what way should we as members of an academic institution change our attitudes, our philosophy, our convictions, and our practices to make these strengths flourish?”
