ACAD provides academic leaders who share a commitment to student learning and to the ideals of liberal education with networking and professional development opportunities to support them in their work as educational leaders.
The American Conference of Academic Deans (ACAD) hosted our 76th Annual Meeting Leadership in Turbulent Times in conjunction with the AAC&U Annual Meeting January 22-25, 2020 in Washington, DC. It was a wonderful success and we are looking forward to planning for our next meeting in Seattle, Washington, January 20-23, 2021. The call for proposals will go out early June 2020.
Registration for the meeting is run through AAC&U and opens in September. One registration fee covers all sessions regardless if they are ACAD or AAC&U sponsored. There are additional fees for meal ticketed events such as the ACAD members breakfast and for sessions outside of the general sessions such as the Deans’ Institute and pre-conference workshops.
