Former Vice President of Academic Affairs and Academic Dean, Guilford College
Frank Boyd is the former Vice President of Academic Affairs and Academic Dean at Guilford College. He joined Guilford in 2017 from Illinois Wesleyan University, where he served in a variety of positions including Associate Dean and Interim Provost.
Frank regularly speaks and consults on issues of shared governance in higher education. He has served in a variety of advisory and leadership roles and is currently a Senior Teagle Scholar at the Center of Inquiry in the Liberal Arts at Wabash College.
Frank received his PhD in political science from Emory University. While at Emory, he served as a staff member at the Carter Center and participated in elections monitoring efforts in Guyana, Panama and Mexico.
